Why feature fencing

A fence that lifts the whole place

Feature fencing is built to be seen. It is the difference between a plain boundary and something that makes your place stand out. Here is what our customers love about it.

Serious street appeal

A timber feature fence out the front gives your place a real entrance statement, the kind that makes people slow down and look twice.

A custom, high-end look

Chunky timber feature posts paired with Colorbond, aluminium or timber battens, so you get a fence that looks designed, not off the shelf.

Privacy with a designer feel

Batten and slat screens keep the neighbours out of your business while still looking sharp from every angle.

Perfect around a pool

A feature screen frames a pool surround or courtyard beautifully, so the space feels like its own little retreat.

Suits modern homes

Clean batten lines pair up perfectly with a modern build, tying the fence into the look of the house.

Lifts the value of the place

A striking fence adds to the feel of the whole property, handy if you are thinking of selling down the track.

Your options

Plenty of ways to make it yours

There is a feature fence to suit just about any home and any budget. We will talk you through the looks that work for your place when we come and measure up.

Timber posts with Colorbond panels

Rich, warm timber battens that age beautifully and suit a feature front fence or privacy screen.

Timber or aluminium slats

Clean horizontal or vertical slat lines, for privacy that still feels open and airy.

Front fences and matching gates

Laser cut screens

A feature panel that doubles as art

Laser cut screens are solid aluminium panels with a pattern cut right through them. They throw beautiful shadows, give you privacy, and work as a real feature piece, on a gate, a front fence, a courtyard wall or a garden feature. Pick a pattern that suits your place, and we powder-coat it in the colour you want.

Questions

Feature fencing FAQs

What is feature fencing?

Feature fencing is a fence built to be seen. Instead of a plain boundary, it mixes materials for a designer look, like chunky sanded timber posts with Colorbond or aluminium infill panels, or timber and merbau battens. It lifts the whole look of the place and gives you privacy with a real designer feel.

What can feature fencing be made from?

All sorts, and that is the beauty of it. A popular look is big sanded timber posts with Colorbond or aluminium infill panels. You can also go full timber with merbau or hardwood battens, or mix and match. We will talk you through what suits your home when we measure up.

Does feature fencing need oiling or maintenance?

The timber parts look their best with a coat of oil every so often, especially merbau, to keep the colour rich. Colorbond and aluminium panels need next to nothing, just a hose-down now and then. We will show you how to keep it all looking sharp.

Can you do a matching gate?

Yes. We build gates to match the fence so the whole entrance ties together, and we can add automation if you want it. Just let us know when we come to quote.

Where does feature fencing suit best?

Out the front for street appeal, around a pool, across a courtyard, or anywhere you want privacy that still looks good. It works especially well on modern homes and anywhere the fence is on show.

How much does feature fencing cost?

Every job is different, so we come out and give you a price after a free measure-up. It comes down to the timber you choose, the length and height, and any gates or automation. There is no obligation to go ahead.
