Gates & automation on the Sunshine Coast
Drive up, press a button, and roll straight in. We build and automate driveway and pedestrian gates from Deception Bay up to Coolum and west to Maleny. Free measure-up, honest advice, and quality workmanship.
A gate that makes life easier and safer
A good gate does more than close off the driveway. Here is what our customers get out of one.
Security and peace of mind
A closed gate keeps your place shut off to anyone who has no reason to be there, so you can relax whether you are home or away.
Open it from the car
No hopping out in the rain. Press the remote as you pull up and the gate is open by the time you reach it.
Keeps kids and pets in
A gate across the drive stops little ones and the dog wandering onto the road, so the front yard becomes usable again.
Matches your fence
We build the gate in the same style as your fence, so it looks like it was always meant to be there.
Adds value and street appeal
A tidy automated entrance lifts the whole look of the front of your place, handy if you are thinking of selling.
You control who comes in
Add a keypad or intercom and you decide who gets through, without leaving the couch or the car.
Gates to suit your entrance
Every driveway is a bit different, so there is no one right answer. We look at your entrance and talk you through what will work best. Here is the sort of thing we do.
Sliding gates
Runs along the fence line to one side. Great for flat driveways and tight spots where a swing gate would not have room to open.
Swing gates
Opens in or out like a front gate. Suits a wider entrance with clear space, and looks the part on a classic frontage.
Pedestrian gates
A separate walk-through gate beside the drive, so you can pop out to the bin or the mailbox without opening the big one.
Automation and motors
Quiet, reliable motors sized to your gate, with safety sensors so it stops if something is in the way. Mains or solar powered.
Materials to match
Colorbond, aluminium slat or timber, built in the same look as your fence so the whole front ties together.
Remotes and intercom
Handheld remotes come standard. Add a keypad, an intercom or phone control so you can let visitors in from wherever you are.
Simple, and no surprises
Free measure-up
We come out, look at your entrance, talk through gate styles and how you want to open it, and answer your questions. No charge and no pressure.

Our own crew installs
The same team that quotes does the job. No subbies, so nothing gets lost in translation.

Gates & automation FAQs
Can you automate my existing gate?
Often, yes. If your gate and posts are in good shape, we can usually add a motor and remotes to what you already have. We take a look when we come out for the free measure-up and give you honest advice on whether it is worth it or whether a new gate would serve you better.
Sliding or swing gate, which is better?
It comes down to your driveway. A sliding gate is great when the driveway is flat and there is room to one side for it to run. A swing gate suits a wider entrance with space for it to open, though it does not love a slope. We will look at your place and tell you what will work best.
Do I need power run to the gate?
An automated gate needs power at the gate. If there is no point nearby we can sort that out, and solar is an option where running a cable is tricky. We will talk through what your gate needs when we quote so there are no surprises.
What materials can gates be made from?
Colorbond, aluminium slat and timber are the common picks, and we match the gate to your fence so it all looks like one job rather than an afterthought.
Can I open it with a remote or my phone?
Yes. Handheld remotes come standard, and we can add a keypad, an intercom or phone control so you can let people in without getting up. We will set you up with what suits how you use the place.
How much does an automated gate cost?
Every entrance is different, so we come out and give you a price after a free measure-up. It comes down to the gate size, the material, the motor and any extras like keypads or intercoms. There is no obligation to go ahead.
